About KessChess

KessChess is an independent, free chess website. You can play straight away in your browser, with no download and no account needed. Create a free account to keep your ratings and play rated games.

Safe and private

Chat is filtered, profile pictures are checked automatically, and your email address is never shown to anyone. Profiles only appear in search engines if the player chooses that in their privacy settings.

Fair play

Every online move is checked by the KessChess server, and ratings are calculated only on the server, so results can’t be faked.
